Antique Vintage Yarn Winder Spinner Wood Base.
What a great piece of Americana. See the detail this maker put into this piece by the wood carvings in the legs and bottom of the box. Has wooden gears inside box and it seems to turn but not sure it works entirely correctly as it is missing the wheel. If this piece was cleaned up it would be a great conversation piece displayed as is. Make your friends guess what it is. Could be repurposed as a small table end piece or a light fixture, etc endless possibilities. It stands approximately 30” tall, 19” wide and 15” deep.
