Offered here, 30 Eight-Point Star quilt blocks.  Hand-stitched using shirtings and dress fabrics.  An old pattern, old
fabrics, striking design.

Blocks measure 11 x 11 inches.
Fiber:
Cotton shirtings and dress fabrics.
Origin:
Lucas County, Ohio.
Date:
1890-1910.
Condition:
Excellent unused condition -- no tears or holes. In the 30 blocks, I am noting only a few light brown spots that should soak away or fade with gentle laundering. However, the fabric feels strong and supple enough to be quilted, should you choose to do so.  You will note a musty aroma -- these blocks have been in storage a very long time.  Price reflects the condition.
